What is Netflix Downloadable Movies?

Subscribers to Netflix's standard DVDs by mail plan can at no additional cost, watch an unlimited number of movies or television shows which are downloaded online through video streaming technology. This plan appeals greatly to the consumer since their is no additional charge to them. However, due to the lessened quality of this current technology compared to the current quality of DVD discs, the downloadable part of this plan is really only good as a secondary source of watching movies or television shows at home. I think DVD discs will remain the main source until downloaded movies or television shows look as good as movies or television shows which are currently on DVD discs.
